How does this work?

First, you make a claim. It can be a fandom, a pairing, a character, or a group of characters - more details about that on the claims page. It can be any fandom at all, not just those actually related to mythology. You can claim the same thing as someone else - as long as you're using a different prompt table. There are four to choose from, you can see them all HERE.

What if someone's already claimed the fandom and table I want?

You can put in a claim and it will be waitlisted. You can work on fics to fill the table while you're waiting, you just can't post them to comm until the previous claimant finishes up, or drops the claim.

Can I make more than one claim?

Yes - but only after you've completed at least 10 fills to your previous table. Maximum claims is three, and you have to keep up with regular posting or you'll be asked to drop your less active ones.

Regular posting? Does that mean there's a required timeframe?

Yes. You have to make some sort of addition to each of your tables at least once a month. If no one is on a waitlist for your claim, you'll get a little more forgiveness on this front, but if you go months upon months without posting, you'll be asked to drop your claim.

However, as long as you post semi-regularly, there is no time limit for final completion.

What are the requirements for each fic?

There's no length limits - it can be as short as a few-sentence drabble or as long as a chapterfic. You can also have a fic in which each chapter fulfils a different prompt, or any combination of those. There's no limit on rating, but if your fic is over PG-13, longer than 100 words, or containing any spoilers at all, put it behind an lj-cut and include a warning. Please also warn for anything remotely triggery, etc. Or post it elsewhere and link to it.

How do I post tho?

Post new fics to this community. You must include some sort of header with Title, Author, Rating, Claim, and a link to your full prompt table. You can add any other information you like, and you can use whatever format you prefer. Here's an easy copypaste code, though:

As for tagging, if there is already an existing tag for your fandom/table/username, please use it! If not, don't worry, a mod will tag your post asap.

Can I include fic I've written previously?

I will say yes to this, just because 100 is a whole lot and if you want to write things out before you claim, or include fics you've written previously that fit with the theme, go for it. Just make sure that more than half were written specifically for this challenge, okay? The idea is to generate a lot of new fic with innovative prompts.

How is it possible to already have a question when I just signed up? lol! Idek!

I just wanted to let you know I will be posting at this comm as babykid528, but my fic journal is actually the27thkingdom, so the fic will link back to there and I will be keeping my table there. I don't think that should mess anything up, but I wanted to check/give a heads up?

as long as you're posting with personal journal, where you link to the fic doesn't matter :D

to claim, or as part of another claim? for the second, definitely allowed as long as one of the fandoms crossing over is part of your claim. and to the first - sure, that's welcome too :D
